Nashik: A five-day mega-industrial expo will be held in the city from November 28. The event, organized by Ambado Industries and Manufacturers Association (AIMA), highlights the city’s growing investment potential and readiness to embrace advanced technology. We expect significant participation from industry leaders, innovators, and policy makers.There will be around 300 stalls at the expo, which will be held at Tucker’s Dome on Trimback Road, all of which have already been booked. The event will have a particular focus on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and electric vehicles (EVs), reflecting the global transition to smart manufacturing and sustainable mobility. Buyer-seller meetings and a dedicated program for start-ups are also planned to foster networking and business opportunities.AIMA Chairman Lalit Boob said a key highlight will be the joint opening of stores by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), the Ministry of Industries’ MAITRI initiative and the Nashik District Industrial Center (DIC). The stall provides important information regarding land availability for new industrial units, a move that is expected to attract investors looking to take advantage of Nashik’s strategic location and robust infrastructure. “This initiative will help investors explore opportunities to set up base in Nashik,” Boob said.A spectacular drone show will be held on the opening night of the expo, symbolizing Nashik’s journey towards technological advancement. The expo will host foreign delegations and exhibits from international industry organizations, further increasing its global appeal.City Commissioner Manisha Khatri emphasized the importance of such events in promoting entrepreneurship. “This industry expo will provide innovative ideas and opportunities for emerging entrepreneurs,” she said, adding that future expos will be held jointly with the government to increase scale and impact.As Nashik emerges as a promising industrial destination, the expo highlights that the city is ready to embrace innovation and sustainability.
