Actor couples Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai reportedly took legal action against YouTube and Google over AI-generated Deepfake videos. According to Reuters reports, they are asking for $450,000 (almost) £4 trillion) damages against Google and others, as well as permanent injunctions to prevent such exploitation.

The lawsuit includes hundreds of links and screenshots of what Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan alleges. According to Reuters, the actor claims that YouTube content and third-party training policies are concerned.
Regarding the lawsuit
They added that, according to Reuters, Abhishek and Aishwarya's nearly identical declarations, they can agree to share the videos they have created to train their rival AI models.
“This kind of content used to train AI models may be first uploaded on an instance of infringing content usage, i.e. YouTube, viewed by the public, and then used for training,” the submission said.
Abhishek and Aishwarya expand further, claiming that when AI platforms portray them in a negative way and are trained with biased content that infringes intellectual property rights, the AI model is “highly likely to learn all such untrue information” and that the AI model infringes information “all such untrue.”
Last month, the Delhi High Court asked Google's lawyers to submit a written response before the next hearing on January 15th.
