Most small businesses use chatgpt every day, new research reveals

AI For Business

A survey of Irish companies found that 62pcs currently use AI chatbots like ChatGpt and Gemini for multiple tasks every day, but 14% say they don't use anything, and an additional 13pcs say they're not related to their business.

LEANBPI is an Irish digital growth consultant for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The study was conducted by the entire census and had a sample of 100 business owners with fewer than 20 employees in Ireland.

70% of SMEs said generative AI will mitigate workloads for them and their employees.

However, the systematic deployment of AI as a whole is not widely popular, and we believe that less than half (41pc) of the companies surveyed using AI to automate tasks and using 47PCs are suitable for large companies.

Trust cited 44pc as an important barrier to symbolism, but surveys found that 30% reported that prices were being paid from the deployment of AI tools.

According to John O'Shanahan, managing director of LeanBPI, small businesses should not take advantage of new digital tools lightly.

Generation AI is currently an essential tool for small and medium-sized businesses

“We've found digital to be so important that you can't sting once, especially with our wealth of experience working with small businesses, working with local enterprise offices in the country,” he said.

“As research at LEANBPI shows, generation AI has now become an essential tool for small and medium-sized businesses. This allows for concrete benefits that not only level the playing field but also provide a thriving competitiveness for large organizations.”

LEANBPI has developed a new digital recovery plan aimed at supporting small businesses that previously struggled with digital adoption.

With the new service, we see that LEANBPI performs diagnostics for digital systems that your business has already implemented.

Small businesses need the right approach to make the most of AI, O'Shanahan added.

“Our mistakes often provide the valuable insights we need to learn what works and what doesn't,” he said.

“Small businesses need the right guidance and support to get back on track, and that's exactly where LEANBPI can help.”
