BJP leader V Muraledaran on Friday criticised the AI-generated video posted by the Bihar Conference, stating it was a “shaming for women across the country” and denounced the party trying to exacerbate the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to Annie, Muraledaran added that he “backfired” the campaign.
“PM has always separated politics from his family. Unfortunately, Congress sees politics as a part of it. This video is a shame for the femininity of the entire country. To apologise,” he said.
In the AI-generated video posted by the Bihar Conference that went viral, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen dreaming of his late mother, Heylaven Modi, who denounces him for his politics.
The party fired once before, but an unknown person took the stage of parliament-led “Voters Adakal Yatra” in Darbanga, Bihar, throwing abuse with Prime Minister Modi and his mother.
In Reponse, the BJP launched a massive attack on alleged abuse against the opposition parties, particularly the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and its leaders Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav.
Previously, Prime Minister Modi also clashed with the RJD and Congress over alleged accusations against his mother. Speaking at the event, he said the abusive comments were a shame not only for mothers but for all mothers, sisters and daughters in the country.
“Mothers are our world. Mothers are our self-esteem. I didn't even imagine what happened in this tradition-rich Bihar a few days ago. My mother was abused by the way of the RJD in Bihar. These abuses are not humiliation to my mother.
The Prime Minister said he was separated from his mother so that he could serve other women in the country. He said his mother, who died after 100 years and had nothing to do with politics, was abused by the RJD and Congress.
