The state government has received 37,89,234 applications for housing assistance, of which 12,09,963 are scheduled tribes, 7,55,542 are special people, and 85,640 are special people. The number of landless applicants is 2,01,011.
Aadhaar verification for 37,28,149 applications has been completed, of which 36,49,295 applicants have been certified by E-KYC. The verification process is expected to be completed by October.
Meanwhile, the state government has received approval from the central government for the distribution of labor orders to eligible beneficiaries. Naik has already announced that labor orders will be distributed to 50,000 beneficiaries under Antyodaya Gruha Yojana on September 17th, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday.
Prime Minister Mohan Charan Maj distributed 60,000 Antidaya homes while launching the scheme in Bhawanipatna on March 30th.
