The US Census Bureau conducts bi-weekly surveys of 1.2 million companies, and one question is whether businesses are helping to produce goods and services in the past two weeks using AI tools such as machine learning, natural language machining, virtual agents, and speech recognition. Recent data by company size shows that AI adoption is declining among companies with over 250 employees. See the chart below.
The bottom row shows that biweekly census data is beginning to show slower AI adoption among large companies.
