New Delhi, India:Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha on Wednesday requested that the government provide free subscriptions to advanced artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGpt, Gemini and Claude to Indians such as ChatGpt, Gemini and Claude during parliamentary sessions.The AAP leader highlighted the potential of Rajya Sabha's emerging technology, saying, “As Indians have to prepare for 2030, they must give free subscriptions to generative AI tools. AI is not a technology, it's an opportunity to dream big and realize their dreams.Chada emphasized that access to such tools could revolutionize the way Indians work, study and live. He further emphasized that AI can unlock the true potential of India for farmers, students, and even seniors.MP argued that AI tools should not remain limited to privileged minorities, but should be universally accessible. He also cited examples of countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and China. They are already beginning to provide citizens with free access to advanced AI tools. “AI is beneficial for farmers, students, businessmen and seniors,” the AAP leader added.He argued that India must follow this global trend. He emphasized that technology can support crop management farmers, support education students, support expanding businesses, and support seniors according to their daily needs.“Because of the high costs, 140 trillion Indians are unable to take advantage of the outlook offered by AI products. AI is expected to generate $15 trillion in industry by 2030,” Chada said.
