Aker Solutions and Cognizant Renge Collaboration to facilitate IT transformation with an Ai-First approach

The new agreement aims to modernize Aker Solutions' IT infrastructure using an AI platform that includes cognitive neurons® Platform.

Global Leader's Cognizant and Aker Solutions Norway The energy industry expanded its long-term partnership with a new annual contract that began in 2016. Using a cognitive Neuro platform designed to enhance adoption of generative AI with flexibility, security, scalability and responsibility, the agreement aims to transform Aker Solutions' IT service delivery, making it more agile and efficient for the evolving energy sector.

Under the new agreement, Cognizant introduced a conversion roadmap focused on upgrading current services without disrupting stable operations. Cognizant aims to modernize Aker Solutions' IT operations and cloud services, IT infrastructure, application management, networking, cybersecurity and other projects using the latest technology and AI platforms. This transformation is expected to leverage AI and machine learning to enhance the end-user experience to better protect Aker Solutions' critical data and infrastructure. Additionally, with the implementation of a scalable, flexible, consumption-based commercial model, Cognizant aims to improve overall agility, allowing Aker solutions to quickly adapt to changing market demand.
