Google is deploying VEO 3 for everyone using Vertex AI, the ML testing platform provided by Google Cloud.
Unlike SORA and other generated video AI models, VEO 3 is a cutting-edge video generator trained on millions of YouTube videos and can generate realistic videos, but good quality costs a lot.
VEO 3 is not free, but it is part of Google Cloud, so you can use it for free by subscribing to the $300 trial provided by Google.
To get started, you can sign up for Google Cloud Trial Credit, which applies to all Google Cloud services, including Vertex AI.
Google Cloud Trials, which require credit or debit cards for human verification, offers $300 cloud billing credits valid for 90 days. You won't be charged until you run out of limits and upgrade to your regular account.
While $300 is only enough to generate multiple clips, don't forget that Vertex AI can generate 8-second VEO 3 clips.
The basic prompt is sufficient to generate video clips using audio, and may even match native accents in some languages.
Google's YouTube channel has several private videos showing off the quality of the VEO 3.
