Canva offers VEO 3 AI models with premium plans
Canva is the latest platform for teaming up with Google in the VEO 3 AI model, allowing you to generate videos using audio using text prompts. The company has confirmed that VEO 3 allows audio to be synchronized to generate 8-second video clips. Google announced a new video generation model at I/O 2025 last month, claiming it will use basic prompts to provide high quality visuals with ambient sound.
Google primarily holds VEO 3 AI as a paid service, part of the AI Pro and Ultra plans available with Gemini Access. Canva's new products are part of the AI extension, as they appear to tempt more people to pay for its services, despite most of the basic features being available in the free version.

Speaking of VEO 3 integration, you will need the Canva Premium version and automatically add AI tools to your plan. Canva says VEO 3 works on the web and mobile apps.
You can start using the Premium feature by tapping Create using the AI options. It provides a detailed text prompt that explains the type of video you want to generate an AI model. You can create an addition, such as a title, and click on the Canva Editor Bubble you want to use to change the visual timeline.
The platform clearly sees the need to integrate with other third-party AI models to enhance their own services and make more people purchase premium subscriptions. Google also has plans to make VEO 3 AI work with its own products like YouTube.
The video streaming platform aims to guide Google's VEO 3 AI model into functionality, filming videos and making scripts significantly redundant. The integration of VEO 3 into YouTube shorts is scheduled for later this year, and an update was recently shared by YouTube CEO Neal Mohan at the event.
When the shorts pivot into AI, it can mean trouble for those who make a living for the platform.
