Inspired by the film Gen model, this new feature is just the first step towards the goal of bringing AI video generation and editing across apps and products. Later this year, you can edit the video with Meta AI using your own text prompt and edit it as you imagined.
Video editing for everyone
The new AI video editing feature is intuitive and easy to use, allowing anyone to edit high quality video without video editing expertise. First, upload the video to the Meta AI app, the Meta.ai website, or the editing app. Then you can explore over 50 editing prompts to convert 10 seconds of video for free, limited and free.
When you select the preset prompt, Meta AI will edit the video to suit the scenario you selected. You can turn your video into a graphic novel and see yourself being reimagined as a vintage comic book illustration. Alternatively, change the lighting of a video captured on a rainy Seattle day to create a dreamlike mood with sparkling glow, pearlescent blur and soft focus. Alternatively, you can turn your video into a video game with fluorescent lighting and combat uniforms.
You can share your edited videos directly to Facebook and Instagram through the Edit and Meta AI app. The Meta AI app and the Meta.ai Web allow you to share your edited videos directly to your discovery feed.
You can build this feature and make fun and interesting videos for everyone to experiment creatively and share with their friends, family and followers.
