February 10, 2026 (MLN): Zong partnered with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications (MoITT) for Indus AI Week 2026, Pakistan’s national initiative on artificial intelligence.
This partnership positions the company as one of the key participants in shaping the country’s AI policy, infrastructure, and implementation roadmap.
According to a press release, the two-day event is scheduled from February 9th to 10th at Indus Innovation Learning and Engagement Arena, a sports complex in Islamabad.
National and international AI experts, industry players, and government leaders will gather to discuss the role of artificial intelligence in Pakistan’s economic and digital development.
Under this partnership, Zong will introduce a range of AI-driven platforms, products, and digital services aimed at supporting AI adoption across consumer, enterprise, and institutional use cases.
The showcase includes AI solutions such as Z-AIVA, Zong A-EYE, OZ GPT, My Zong App, gaming platforms, and other digital ecosystems, demonstrating the company’s focus on integrating AI into networks, services, and applications.
A central element of Zong’s participation is the planned launch of Z-Smart Hub, which combines Z-SAIS cloud and DICT to support secure and scalable digital services.
The company will also showcase AI-enabled devices such as next-generation ZTE smartphones and smart glasses, highlighting the growing role of AI-enabled hardware in Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
Zong’s involvement is supported by China Mobile’s technology capabilities in areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and next-generation networks.
As Pakistan seeks to harness emerging technologies to enhance productivity, innovation and digital sovereignty, this collaboration aligns with national efforts to accelerate responsible and inclusive AI adoption.
Commenting on the partnership, Zong Chairman and CEO Huo Junli said that artificial intelligence has become an important element of economic competitiveness and national development.
He added that this cooperation aims to contribute to building an AI ecosystem that supports Pakistan’s long-term value creation.
Through its participation in Indus AI Week 2026, Zong is establishing itself as a digital enabler in Pakistan’s evolving technology landscape.
This comes as policymakers and industry players assess how artificial intelligence can support the transition to a higher-value, technology-driven economy.
