YouTube's new AI tools allow you to create videos without a camera. Here's how to influence content creators:

AI Video & Visuals

YouTube videos employ new routes for video creation, which can have little connection to human intelligence, or artificial intelligence (AI). The video streaming giant is experimenting with new AI tools that can generate movies for you without cameras, editing or acting skills. The platform plans to integrate Google's LAEST VEO 3 AI technology into YouTube shorts.

Google's AI offering, VEO 3, is an AI tool that creates videos from a text prompt. It's like a video generation tool that doesn't require the traditional setup required to create cameras and videos. Everything goes into AI and is ready-made. It sounds thrilling, but it could be bad news for small town content creators who worked so hard to build their business.

YouTube CEO Neal Mohan said at the Cannes Lions Festival that the shorts will soon get a big AI update. VEO 3 is Google's latest video AI model and will be appearing on the platform.

VEO 3 not only allows you to edit videos, but also create the entire video with just the words you type. Want to see your child playing on a paper plane while hilarious music plays in the background? Enter it and you're done. There's no need to shoot anything with the camera or complete the video using editing software.

VEO 3 allows you to add noise, sights and even atmosphere to your videos. YouTube boasts that its shorts are viewed over 200 million times a day. Using VEO 3 could increase that number. But here's the other side – if AI films start taking over the platform, real artists may not get much attention. Over a quarter of the YouTube partner program earns money from shorts. And if AI can work faster and with less money, many people may lose their source of income.
