Recall that YouTube was secretly testing a feature that would help you find the good parts of a video faster. Now, that feature “Jump Ahead” is finally rolling out to a limited number of YouTube Premium subscribers in the US.
This new experimental feature was first tested in March and is now accessible to premium subscribers.
The “Jump Ahead” feature uses artificial intelligence and viewer behavioral data to identify the most engaging parts of your video, and double-tap to fast forward to reveal the “Jump Ahead” button. Click the button to quickly skip to the parts of the video that are of interest to most viewers.
