YouTube will be demoing AI-generated videos from July 15th: What creators need to know

AI Video & Visuals

Starting July 15, 2025, YouTube has launched major updates to its monetization policy, targeting low-effort, AI-generated and mass-produced content that has been flooded with platforms in recent years.

The move aims to reward original creators, but eliminates channels that take advantage of repeat or automated formats for rapid advertising revenue.

Under the new guidelines, channels that rely heavily on third-party content with minimal editing, AI-generated narration, or compilation-style videos without substantial human input can be demoed.

This is why it's important for content creators

For YouTube creators, this update represents an important turning point. Those who have not evolved by relying on automation, shortcuts, or content scraping are at risk if they are completely shut out of monetization.

But for creators who double their personal creativity, storytelling and educational values, the platform promises more visibility and monetization opportunities.

In a content landscape that rapidly evolves for AI, YouTube's message is clear. Originality is no longer an option. This is the new standard of success.
