Nvidia CEO and co-founder Jensen Huang said there's no need to worry about robots getting a job.
However, at Milken Institute's Global Conference 2025 on May 6, Huang should expect job situations to be threatened by people who better understand artificial intelligence.
“Every job was affected and soon. That's undoubtedly,” said Huang, 62. “You won't lose your job to AI, but you will lose your job to people who use AI.”
There is actually no job opening for CNBC to have CNBC created on March 31st, where AI can do it entirely on its own. But two-thirds of roles on the platform include tasks that allow AI to perform reasonably, says Hyams.
People who can train AI systems are becoming more desirable for employers, saying, “There are around 30 million people in the world who know how to program and use this technology at extreme levels.

Not all CEOs in the AI industry fully agree with Huang. The technology could eliminate half of entry-level white-collar jobs within the next one to five years, humanity CEO Dario Amodei told Axios on Wednesday.
“Cancer has been cured, the economy has grown by 10% a year, and budgets are balanced. 20% have no employment,” Amodei predicted, adding that he saw AI has evolved from supporting many entry-level jobs to fully automating responsibility.
One potential end result is that CEOs will simply stop listing many new jobs for employment.
Companies such as Shopify, Duolingo, and Fiverr have already encouraged or required that some or all of their employees be using AI. According to a company-wide note from CEO Tobi Lutke, Shopify recommends managers drain these tools before seeking more personnel.
Huang says AI will lead to at least some job creation, especially in areas such as software engineering and computer programming.
“It used to be human-coded software running on a CPU. It's machine learning software running on a GPU now,” he told the Hill and Valley Forum in April. “All layers of its tools are now invented and create a lot of work on the next layer… you need to create a lot of new trade jobs.”
“Don't be someone who ignores this technology.”
Huang has frequently touted the current ability of AI to help workers work more efficiently. He personally writes his first draft using chatbots such as Google's Gemini and Openai's ChatGpt, he said on a January 7 episode of Wharton's organizational psychologist Adam Grant's “Rethinking” podcast.
They can also be used for more complex projects, he said at the meeting.
“If you don't know how to program your computer, just tell the AI. “I don't know how to program. [computers]. How do I program them? “And AI will teach you exactly how to do it [do so]He said. You can draw and ask what to do. ”
His recommendation: Get used to AI, especially if you are a student. Billionaire entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuba likewise advises students to learn how to use AI tools.
“When I talk to the kids today and when they ask me what I would do if I was 12 today, my answer is always the same, read the book and learn how to use it [artificial intelligence] Cuban, 66, wrote in a February 17th post about the social media platform BlueSky.
Since 2019, Cuba has committed millions of dollars to host free AI bootcamps for high school students in low-income US areas. His programme aims to help develop “underrepresented” talent that will ultimately help to increase the country's global competitiveness, he told the Wall Street Journal in October 2020.
At the meeting, Huang expressed a complementary perspective. “It can be argued that artificial intelligence is probably the best way to increase GDP,” he said. “Don't be someone who ignores this technology… Use AI.”
