Golpo, a startup co-founded by his brothers Shreya and Shramanker, supported by Y Combinator, has launched an AI-powered video generation platform that converts written content and workflows into animation explanatory videos.
Users can enter information from a variety of formats, such as documents, code, or project management tools, and the system can instantly generate dynamic, whiteboard-style animations combined with realistic narration. Designed for clarity and simplicity, the videos are especially suitable for tasks such as training employees, explaining products, providing educational lessons, sharing educational content, and more. The platform supports narration in over 50 languages, allowing users to fully customize their visuals and animations for accurate messaging.
Co-founder Shrayas Kar describes Golpo as a tool built to streamline communication. “AI video tools these days are impressive at generating film scenes and flashy content, but they struggle with practical communication, like product demos and technical topics. Even today, most teams create explanatory videos manually, as existing AI tools are not built for communication or clarity.”

The team behind Golpo says the platform is tailored to specific needs such as descriptions, training and reporting. “Golpo is built specifically for use cases involving explanation, learning and reporting, and other AI video generators are not authentic and not engaging. After Golpo generates the video, you can fully customize the animations per frame. You can also create videos for 15 seconds to 30 minutes.”
Golpo is available in multiple pricing tiers. The free plan allows users to provide two credits per month for just one or two test videos for free. The starter plan costs $39.99 per month, and includes 20 units and access to email support, making it suitable for solo creators and lighter use cases. For greater needs, the Plus Plan offers 500 credits with $499.99 per month, along with premium customer support. Companies can request custom solutions that include API access, advanced storyboard tools, narration for up to 190 languages, script verification, and the ability to create videos for up to 60 minutes.
Before this video platform, Shrayas Kar had introduced Golpo as the “first production quality AI True Crime Podcast Generator.” According to KAR, users simply share stories that interest them, and Golpo usually creates more than 30 minutes long, including conducting research, creating scripts, and creating sophisticated fact-based audio content. The result was a personalized, real-event-driven podcast that eliminates waiting between episodes.
