Melania's thoughts on AI:

The initiative has not come out of nowhere. Melania Trump has quietly carved out her technically headed profile over the past year, both astounding critics and supporters.

Most recently, she made headlines entirely aloud with an artificial intelligence replica of her own voice in the release of an AI-narrated audiobook version of her 2024 memoir, Melania.

“Now I'm giving you a torch of innovation,” Melania said.

“As someone who created an AI-powered audiobook and defended online safety through the Take It Down Act, I have seen this powerful technology promise first hand,” she said in the video. “Now I'm giving you a torch of innovation.”

What is the challenge?

The contest itself is ambitious. The Presidential AI Challenge, launched when registration is launched, asks students to work in the guidance and team of adult mentors or teachers to create projects to use AI to solve local issues.

Michael Krazios, director of the White House Science and Technology Office, explained his goals when he appeared on Fox & Friends. “We want American youth to plug in and work and use AI tools. The possibilities are endless, but the mission is clear. We hope that students will collaborate to build real-world solutions.”
