Adobe has been a community leader in graphic design and digital art software for decades, but how does Canva compare to Adobe Creative Cloud? Which is better for designers?
Available software
Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva have each been around since 2013. However, Adobe itself had been offering digital art solutions long before the release of Creative Cloud.

The choice is up to you, the digital designer or artist. If you have the money to invest in yourself, Adobe Creative Cloud has all the tools you need. It’s expensive and there are a lot of tools, so it can take some time to learn. Canva is a much more cost effective tool with very little learning curve.
If you’re not too concerned about how your designs are created and are more interested in showing off your great designs, Canva is for you. But if you’re a process enthusiast, Adobe will keep you learning and pushing your limits.
