On June 21, 2023, Polygon Labs announced Polygon Copilot, a new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot that helps developers, tech enthusiasts, and curious users navigate Web3. bottom.
So what is Polygon Copilot and how does it work?
What is Polygon’s AI co-pilot?
Polygon Labs introduces Polygon Copilot as your personal assistant for navigating the blockchain world. This AI-powered chatbot was created to ease the transition to Polygon 2.0.
As part of 2.0, Polygon proposed an upgrade from Polygon PoS to zkEVM Validium, a proprietary decentralized Ethereum Layer 2 established using zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs. While this unique upgrade has many benefits, it also raises many questions and uncertainties about what it means for ecosystem participants and exactly how the new technology will work.
Polygon’s AI Copilot was created to guide you through these uncertainties and inform you about the Web3 ecosystem. Chatbots are useless for non-crypto topics. However, if what you want to know is blockchain-based, specifically related to Polygon and zkEVM, Polygon Copilot can be your guide.
Explain how the various Polygon protocols work and what they do. The AI-powered interface will answer Web3-based questions, help operate decentralized applications (DApps) on Polygon, provide insights and analytics, and even help mint his NFTs.
Additionally, future versions of Polygon’s AI Copilot may add powerful plugins and extensions that can automate activities in the Polygon ecosystem.
How does Polygon’s AI co-pilot work?
Polygon Copilot takes advantage of OpenAI’s GPT-4, a powerful natural language processing model that can generate consistent and informative text on a variety of topics. However, it was trained using the Polygon protocol documentation to provide blockchain-related responses and information.
Similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Polygon’s AI Copilot can be accessed from a browser or mobile device, but a cryptocurrency wallet is required instead of login details to access the interface. Over 50 wallets are supported, including Coinbase, Brave, Ledger and more.
Type in a query about Polygon or the Web3 ecosystem, or use our pre-designed prompts, and Polygon Copilot will return all the information you need. AI chatbots automatically save chats for easy access later, and you can copy these chats or share them with others. The user interface is similar to Microsoft’s Bing AI Chat, with different modes to choose from.
There are different personas with different levels of knowledge and writing styles to choose from. For example, you can choose “Beginner” mode to learn the basics of the Polygon ecosystem, or “Advanced” mode to delve deeper into the technical details.
While still rolling out, you can also opt for the “Degen” mode to gain insight into your NFTs, DApps and wallets. “Degen” mode writes using “sense”. That means using memes, slang, and humor to spice up your conversations. You can also access NFT, decentralized finance (DeFi), and other Web3 analytics using the “/stats” command.
Credits are required to use Polygon’s AI Copilot. Three for each search using GPT-4 and one for GPT 3.5. to select the model of your choice. setting after that reaction.
Earn 15 credits every 24 hours. You can earn more credits by joining Polygon’s Discord group, inviting people, and giving feedback, but you can’t keep more than 40 credits in your wallet at any given time. Still, with Polygon Copilot you can add your OpenAI API key and get unlimited credits.
How to use Polygon’s AI Copilot
First, visit the Polygon Copilot page and connect your wallet.
This will allow you to access the chat interface and enter your first prompt. beginner, Altitudeagain Degen Mode (if available). For example, you can ask, “What is MATIC?” Or “Show me Polygon’s collection of 10 NFTs”.
Polygon Copilot responds to prompts in a friendly and informative manner. It also suggests related prompts that you might be interested in, such as “How can I buy MATIC?” or “How can I create my own NFT collection of him?”
Here are some cool things you can do with AI-powered interfaces.
- Ask questions about cryptographic protocols, such as “What is Polygon?” or “How does zkEVM work?”
- Get insights and analysis on the cryptocurrency market, including “What is MATIC’s market capitalization?” or “How much gas does it take to cast an NFT with Polygon?”
- Mint zkEVM and POS-based NFTs from within the app by entering commands like “mint cool NFTs” or “show me Polygon’s collection of NFTs”.
- Learn how to use crypto tools and platforms with prompts such as “How can I check my MATIC balance?” or “How do I connect my wallet to Aave?”
To access previous conversations, tap history tab. During, share a conversation Forward the conversation to another person using the icons at the bottom of the page.
Navigating Web3 with Polygon’s AI Copilot
