The easiest way to use Claude AI is directly using the Claude app. Personal accounts have multiple tiers, and Team and Enterprise plans have additional tiers. All plans, including the free tier, give users access to Haiku, Sonnet, and Opus models, but usage limits vary.
These usage limits vary based on demand as well as use case and model selection. A long, context-heavy prompt to Claude Opus will reach its usage limit faster than a short prompt to Claude Haiku. Usage is typically further limited during peak periods when overall usage approaches the maximum capacity of the load. as OC register reportchanges and uncertainties in usage restrictions are sometimes a cause for concern for users.

Up to 5x: The Max 5x plan costs $100 per month and offers 5x the usage of the Pro plan. It also includes priority access to new features and models. The Max plan also provides access to Claude Code, Anthropic’s agent coding tool.6

up to 20x: The $200/month Max 20x plan offers the same early access benefits as the Max 5x plan, plus 20 uses of the Pro plan.6
All individual plans share the same 200K token context window. When a conversation exceeds the length of its context window, the Claude app automatically summarizes the previous context so that the conversation can continue uninterrupted.7
The Team plan is available in standard and premium versions and offers the benefits of the Pro plan plus additional organizational features such as access management with single sign-on (SSO), role-based permissions, and third-party application integration.8
The Enterprise plan is also available in Standard and Premium versions and offers the features of the Pro plan with higher usage limits, additional enterprise tool integrations, and an enhanced context window.9
