Mysore/Missle: The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) in Gokulam, Mysuru, will collaborate with ISTE and the IEEE PELS Bangalore Chapter to host a five-day faculty development program (FDP) entitled “AI for All: Interdispignal Applications.”

The purpose of this program is to enhance understanding and practical knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and diverse applications across multiple engineering streams, and to promote interdisciplinary learning and collaborative research. The FDP is convened by Dr. K. Gopala Reddy, Dean of the EEE Department, and coordinated by Dr. S. Rashmi, Associate Professor at the EEE Department. The initiative highlights VVCE's commitment to teacher empowerment and technological advancement in higher education.

The first ceremony will be held at 9:45am at BC Lingaiya Hall in vvce. Gundappa Gowda, president of Vidyavardhaka Sangha of Mysuru, will be hosting. Manoj Kumar, Vice President – Data Engineering for Redbus India Pvt. Ltd. will become the Chief Guest. Secretary P. Vishwanath, VV Sangha and P. Prabhavathi, co-founder and CEO of Skillsoc Technologies LLP, Bengaluru, will be guests of honor. Shrishaila Ramannavar, Treasurer, VV Sangha, B. SadashiveGowda, Principals, VVCE and Shobha Shankar, Vice Principal & Dean – Academic Affairs, VVCE will be present.
