Three videos circulating on social media purport to show a senior Indian journalist reporting that prominent leaders of Bihar’s NDA, including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, are being investigated for allegedly funding Pakistan’s political organization PTI.
News Checker’s investigation revealed that the video was manipulated.
video 1
The video purports to be of independent journalist Ravish Kumar reporting that Pakistan’s PTI had established links with Bihar NDA leaders and transferred funds during the state elections.

fact
When we checked Ravish Kumar’s official YouTube channel, we did not find any programs or reports that corroborated this suspicion.
A reverse image search traced Kumar’s background and attire to a genuine video posted on November 20, 2025, in which he was reporting on the Bihar government’s swearing-in ceremony.

According to the video, Firstpost Editor-in-Chief Palki Sharma reported that four Bihar NDA leaders are under surveillance for funding Pakistan’s PTI.

fact
No such reports were found on Firstpost’s website, YouTube channel or Sharma’s official social media handles.
A reverse image search traced the keyframe to a Nov. 15, 2025, Firstpost report titled “Trump eyes Latin American deal to reduce food prices,” which featured Sharma wearing the same outfit as the viral clip.
The viral clip showed forced smeared lip movements, suggesting manipulation.

The third clip is of NDTV editor-in-chief Shiv Aror allegedly saying that NDA leaders are funneling money to Pakistan’s PTI.

fact
A check of NDTV’s official website, YouTube channel, and Aroor’s social media accounts revealed that no such report existed.
I also checked the playlist of the show ‘India Matters’ hosted by Aroor and there was no segment that mentioned the PTI funds probe.
The video showed distorted jaw movements and smudged footage, suggesting it was operated by an AI.
