The fourth one might be…a Rebel chicken? In a new AI Lego meme video released on PETA’s popular social media platform for Star Wars Day, a chicken launches a daring raid on a Death Star conference room under the command of “General Kane” (an interpretation of the Raging Kane mascot), freeing his fellow birds, engaging in a lightsaber battle, and ending with a dramatic escape.

“Chicken doesn’t deserve the death penalty for your fast food fix,” said PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk. “In real life, caring people are their only hopeThat’s why PETA urges you to: join the rebellion Take a stand against cruelty by going vegan this Star Wars Day and for years to come. ”

Chickens are social learners who observe and imitate each other. Just like humans, chickens form strong bonds, dream when they sleep, and worry about the future. However, in the meat industry, chickens are confined by the tens of thousands in extremely crowded and filthy sheds, and are bred so that their upper bodies are unnaturally large, often causing them to become lame from the weight. At slaughterhouses, their throats are slit with mechanized knives while they are still conscious, and many die from burns in feather removal tanks. PETA points out that: Cane farming is responsible for the deaths of countless birds each year, all of which are killed at just six weeks old.

PETA, whose motto is “Animals are not what we eat,” points out that chickens, dogs, and boys are all the same when it comes to the ability to feel pain, hunger, and thirst. PETA’s free vegan starter kit is helpful for anyone considering making the switch to veganism. Click here for more information. PETA.org Or follow PETA ×, facebookor Instagram.
