A new direction has emerged in the United States that combines human memory and technology. Canadian actor and screenwriter Callum Worthy has developed an application called 2wai. This provided the ability to create digital copies of the deceased and communicate through artificial intelligence. The Daily Mail reported on November 14th.
The video shows a pregnant woman communicating with an artificial copy of her deceased mother via 2wai. Over time, the “grandma” will tell fairy tales to the baby, communicate with children returning from school, and even tell about the birth of grandchildren. In other words, this application virtually recreates moments typical of human memory.
To create the digital image, a three-minute video of the deceased before his death is uploaded to the chatbot. AI uses this data to reconstruct a person’s voice, facial expressions, and communication style. At the same time, technology is raising many ethical controversies.
Note that this application also allows you to resurrect historical figures such as Shakespeare and Henry VIII.
Previously, it was reported that an autonomous robotic kitchen was launched in Germany, and that scientists in Zurich had developed a medical smart sock called Leia after five years of research.
