Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday (December 30, 2025) said 2026 is a decisive year for Uttar Pradesh's technological advancement, saying the state is emerging as a global hub for artificial intelligence and the digital economy.

Adityanath asked the youth to take a special resolution for 2026 to set aside at least one hour every week to educate five children around them about computers and artificial intelligence (AI) and share their knowledge. “Respected citizens of the state, it is time to welcome 2026. 2025 will be remembered for setting new standards in innovation in technology, AI and data. Uttar Pradesh is setting new standards for future-oriented development. The state's good governance has strengthened its 'Brand UP' across the world. Uttar Pradesh has now become a trusted state for investors. I would like to ask my young friends to make a special resolution for 2026. Educate 5 kids around you about computers and AI. Set aside at least one hour each week to share your knowledge,” Adityanath writes on X.

A detailed message in Hindi on X said the UP CM's additional investment can only prosper if the nation and society are secure. He said strong governance had strengthened its “branding” globally and transformed the state into a trusted destination for investors. The Chief Minister said preparations are being made for the development of AI cities in Lucknow and Noida, while a semiconductor sector worth Rs 3,700 crore is being set up in Jewar.
