We look forward to today to announce that Luma AI's latest video model, Ray3, is now available in the Adobe Firefly app. Here you can generate videos and explore creative concepts on Firefly boards. As Luma AI's Ray3's first launch partner, Firefly customers will have early access to the models ahead of a wider public release. For the next two weeks, Ray3 will only be available on the Firefly app and Luma AI's Dream Machine platform.
How Ray3 supports your creative workflow
Ray3 allows you to generate high-quality movie-like videos (up to 10 seconds long). This is one of the first video AI models to support native high dynamic range (HDR), offering richer contrast, deeper shadows and brighter highlights in a professional grade format. Built on a new multimodal inference system, Ray3 can better understand the creative intent of users and provide production-ready assets in a variety of complex situations, including motion blur, crowds, preserved anatomy, physics simulation, and world exploration.

- If you are a filmmaker, producer, or visual storyteller, you can explore different visual orientations using Ray3 on your Firefly board before proceeding with filming. Everything you create using Ray3 with Firefly can be synced to your Creative Cloud account, allowing you to bring content to Adobe apps like Premiere Pro for more accurate editing and improvements.
Also, like all partner models integrated into Firefly apps, what you generate in your app is not used to train the generated AI models. Additionally, all of Firefly's AI-generated content contains content credentials, so you always know which AI was used to create it, and it helps you to be transparent at every stage of your creative process.
