Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has introduced a virtual artificial intelligence (AI) spokesperson who will publish consular updates on behalf of the ministry.
The virtual consular representative, called Victoriya Shi, was created based on the portrait of Rosalie Nombre, a mixed-race Ukrainian singer and media personality who is believed to have been born in Donetsk. Western countries.
According to a press release from the ministry, Nombre agreed to have her voice and likeness used “free of charge.”
A teaser video released by the ministry had a virtual representative explain her role and role.

The ministry said it has taken multiple measures to combat “digital forgery”, including QR codes linked to the ministry's own official statements so viewers can verify authenticity.
