In celebration of World Goth Day (today May 22nd), Type O Negative have released the band’s official AI (artificial intelligence) music video. dead again “Halloween in Heaven” was a hit.
The song was originally written in memory of the late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell. Now, in this new AI video by Corinne Larre of Twisted Hooves Studio, Type O Negative features John Bonham, John Entwistle, Bon Scott, Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, George Harrison, Jim And so on, honoring many legends who passed away. Morrison, Elvis Presley and of course Peter Steele.
Throughout the video, you’ll see a number of vampire and religious symbols and figures, all shouting overwhelmingly Type O Negative.
Guitarist Kenny Hickey uses Type O’s trademark self-deprecating sense of humour, enthusing, “It’s an artificial intelligence video for an artificial intelligence band!”
Lare, who created the video using AI technology, said, “When Nuclear Blast asked me to create this video using artificial intelligence, I was excited to explore the thousands of possibilities this new technology offers. We ended up using two platforms in combination.” ”

Regarding the controversial nature of the use of AI, Rare added: “As an artist, I think we need to remain humble when it comes to the use of artificial intelligence, as it is a subject that rightfully raises ethical debates in the creative world. It should not be seen as a work of art per se, but as the first step in technology that will revolutionize audiovisual creation in the years to come.”
