TV and movie star Alyson Hannigan has started making craft videos. It’s a lot of fun. Her first video hit my Instagram feed a few weeks ago (the algorithm clearly knows how much I love my craft), and her account quickly got followed by me.
The most surprising thing about the American Pie and How I Met Your Mother star’s videos is that they are extremely budget-friendly and easy to follow, even for beginners. single Digital machine tools have come into view.
In Alison’s video above, she can be seen sitting in front of a beautiful rainbow-coloured yarn wall and talks about her ambition to share her passion for crafting with her followers. “I thought, let’s do it together,” she says.
After five craft videos, Alison has clearly hit her stride. In her latest Valentine’s-themed video, below, she creates a stunning set of giant letter initials covered in conversation hearts (think American version of love hearts?) and sits in front of an astroturf backdrop with floral hearts in the background, wearing an also cute love heart shirt.
