Elon Musk has reportedly founded his own AI company. The news is somewhat surprising given that Musk has signed an open letter criticizing the rapid progress of his AI and asking the lab to pause development of new AI. The company’s exact intentions are still unclear, but now it looks like Musk will work directly in his AI field.
Musk’s own AI company is called “X.AI Corp.,” according to documents filed in Nevada. The filing lists Musk as the sole director, with current director of his family office, Jared Virtual, as a secretary.
Montana passes bill to block TikTok downloads

Montana has become the first state to officially ban the app, amidst nationwide talks to ban TikTok. The state has passed a bill that effectively bans her TikTok offering on app stores. SB 419 “Prohibited[s] A mobile application store that provides the TikTok application to users in Montana. ”

Twitter Blue subscribers can now post longer essays thanks to Elon Musk increasing the character limit. People enrolled in this program can tweet up to 10,000 characters, with the option to italicize or bold the text of the tweet.
The longer tweets appear to be preparing platforms to compete with newsletters such as Substack, which Musk appears to see as a threat. Last week, the CEO blocked access to his Substack within her Twitter, so when users clicked on his Substack link, her website was “potentially spam or unsafe” with a message. displayed.
