Since AI-generated videos grew in popularity in 2023, social media users have uploaded them to go viral on the internet.
In May, they tended to collect virus podcast clips using AI programs and turn hosts into babies. Along the way, users were able to take over the app with baby versions of Joe Rogan, Theophone and dozens of top stars.
Today, thousands of AI-generated ASMR videos take over Tiktok.
AI ASMR goes viral on Tiktok
If you look into Tiktok videos, you will often find the same thing and you will find knives that can get through glass-like structures.
In most cases, these structures look like fruit, whether they are bundles of grapes, watermelons, or apples.
However, the video sometimes shows the seemingly plain glass orbs being cut off until they discover the interior of kiwi or coconut.
New AI ASMR trends are more than just cutting objects. One viral video shows a woman having a mubbing bang, but instead of food, she uses chopsticks to eat melted lava.
Lava appears to be a common theme in some of the AI videos as well. On Sunday, June 15th, one account posted a video showing people aliens who want a happy Father's Day while holding a plate of food.
However, instead of regular steaks, the aliens have plates with hot mounds of lava that look like steaks instead.
Across almost every AI ASMR video on Tiktok, hundreds of users are shocked at how random the clips are, pointing out the number of LAVA-focused uploads that many users have seen.
