Four of the five Northern Ireland recruiters already use artificial intelligence (AI), so the new research suggests.
Approximately 78% of respondents to Nijobs' latest study said they used AI to improve efficiency and enhanced adoption in a variety of ways.
Approximately 40% said they used AI to write and publish job ads.
According to the survey, 23% actually use AI to contact candidates first.

Nijobs said they spoke to 100 recruiting companies and 250 interview candidates as part of their research.
The recruitment portal said despite the widespread adoption of AI, 61% of recruiters said management tasks were a factor in slowing employment.
Research shows recruiters spend around four hours screening CVS for each vacant seat.
Nijobs claims that automating such tasks saves time and money.
“This study is a good indicator of the pressure recruiters face in the busy labor market, especially when they manage large numbers of recruitment applications.”
“Because we are not familiar, some recruiters remain on the fence about AI, but our research shows that people who are already using it have a positive experience.
“AI has become an essential tool for improving efficiency, reducing unnecessary costs and hiring the right talent.
“Increasing AI integration needs to be used as a valuable tool to reshape the way we approach recruitment and benefit both recruiters and candidates.
“Employers also need to be responsible and strategically using this technology, and make sure that staff have the right skills to support it. With the right systems in place, business owners can maintain innovative, agile and transform recruitment as we know it.”
