Inspired by Girls Against Boys/Soulside drummer Alexis Fleisig's measured comments on modern life, the four-and-a-half-minute track is accompanied by a puzzling video by David Yeo, who explains the clip's concept: “The video for 'Alexis Fields Chic' is a nasty, comical impressionistic portrayal of late American capitalism, complete with dog.” Duane Denison adds that the song is “a study in greed, gluttony and… dogs.”
