Below is an important excerpt from today's hearing.
Congressman Diana Hirschberger (TN-01): “Toy, what do you think as long as you use your community provider (and your pharmacist) in your rural area? [using technology and automation as a platform to expand and reinvigorate the practice of community pharmacy]?” Mr. Toy: “That's probably going to see this in your own practice – it's not much tweaked now between the actual pharmacist and the doctor. What AI can do is not just for the patient, but also for the clinician in question.”
Congressman Jay Obernolte (CA-23): “You know, for years, we've had a predictive diagnosis that talks about how AI helps drug discovery, how to help diagnose, a predictive diagnosis that has pattern recognition, and a predictive diagnosis that talks about risks you didn't even know existed – a drug therapy tailored to your genome… All of this is, we're cutting back on your managers. Is it now?” Should people be disappointed about it or is this the first of many things in the future? ” Mr. Parker: “[…] I am optimistic that these new experiences will help people become healthier and help them save money. That's why our implementation is so practical, right? I think everyone is always talking about how you can't get anything price in healthcare, so I'll solve that [by] Using AI is a very useful utility for consumers. As with care plans, let consumers manage their health [and] The next step is to understand what they should do, and for me, what is happening in the morning, helping patients realize the value of AI in their daily lives. It's not about reducing the number of administratively created values. I think it's a low fruit. ”
Rep. Nick Langworthy (NY-23): “AI is no longer a theory about the future. We've already changed the way care is delivered, how we diagnose diseases, how we use data, how we improve outcomes. In my district, the southern tier of the western part, we count more efficient, more affordable, more responsive health care systems. Discoveries that took us years in months.”
