Tech Mahindra’s global enterprise clients can harness the power of physical AI with direct access to Viam’s advanced robotics and automation platform.
Viam, a software platform for advanced robotics and automation, announced a partnership with Tech Mahindra, a leading global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions to companies across industries. As a core partner in physical AI, Viam is working with Tech Mahindra to provide global enterprise clients with direct access to the Viam platform for managing and maintaining large robot fleets.
Companies are rapidly adopting and deploying robotics across manufacturing, logistics, and industrial environments, but face tough challenges with software, speed of deployment, and integration with existing systems. Viam’s advanced robotics and automation platform provides an integrated software layer for building, deploying, and managing large-scale robotics applications, enabling enterprises to manage robots with the same level of visibility and control as traditional IT systems. Viam’s platform is hardware- and cloud-agnostic, enabling Tech Mahindra’s clients to accelerate the adoption of advanced robotics and automation.
“Across industries, enterprises are increasingly turning to robotics and automation as strategic enablers of resiliency, productivity, and intelligent decision-making,” said Manikatan NS, Global Delivery Head, Manufacturing Services Line, Tech Mahindra. “However, scaling robotics across complex industrial environments remains a challenge due to software ecosystem fragmentation, integration complexity, and the need for real-time fleet visibility and management. The partnership with Viam Mahindra’s deep engineering and industry expertise combined will help address these challenges.” By leveraging Viam’s advanced hardware-agnostic robotics platform, we aim to enable enterprises to accelerate the deployment of scalable, secure, and intelligent automation solutions while improving operational efficiency and business agility. ”

Tech Mahindra plans to leverage the Viam platform to expand its purpose-built robotics and automation practice, enabling manufacturing clients across the globe to deploy automation solutions for customers across industries. The partnership includes extensive training and education of Tech Mahindra engineers on the Viam platform.
“Our partnership with Tech Mahindra provides a tremendous opportunity for businesses to leverage Viam’s platform on a global scale,” said Eliot Horowitz, CEO and Founder of Viam. “As AI moves into the physical world, the future of automation will be defined by software in every industrial environment.”
Tech Mahindra’s customers around the world are working to meet stringent requirements for robotics and automation deployment, reliability and resiliency. Leverage the Viam platform to provide remote fleet management, predictive and preventive maintenance across robotic fleets and facilities, and over-the-air (OTA) software updates to ensure uptime and optimal productivity.
Viam is a hardware-agnostic platform built on security, stability, and speed. It can run on a wide range of robots and devices, from the smallest sensors to the largest robotic arms. Led by Elliott Horowitz, co-founder and former CTO of MongoDB, the company has headquarters and a robotics lab in New York, where its engineers work with partners to bring new solutions to market. Viam has demonstrated its robots around the world, including at Hannover Messe in April, the most important international platform for industrial transformation.
