Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has one of the largest artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled workforces in the world, thanks to strong training initiatives and a strong engineering culture. The company's Managing Director and CEO K Kritivasan said in an email to employees: End of 24th fiscal year.
He added that the company has trained 300,000 employees in basic AI skills, significantly increasing their capabilities.

He also said the company has more than 200 generative AI (GenAI) projects underway with customers and has deepened its partnerships with approximately 11,000 customers to collaborate on AI. TCS said it doubled its AI and GenAI deal pipeline to $900 million in the quarter ended March.
Commenting on the departure of Chief Operating Officer NG Subramaniam, Mr. Kritivasan praised his efforts and influence over the years and said: NGS has led organizations across key roles for over 40 years, selflessly providing valuable service to the company. ”
Mr. Kritivasan further expressed the collective effort, saying, “#OneTCS, we are ending the financial year on a strong note and are poised to seize future growth opportunities.”
TCS reported a 6.8% year-on-year increase in revenue to Rs 2,40,893 crore in FY24, while net profit rose nearly 9% to Rs 45,980 crore.
