In addition to being invited to speak at the JEC Leadership Circle, green circular materials provider Swancor Holdings (Nantou, Taiwan) is officially announcing its entry into the AI robotics and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market under the theme of JEC World: “Revolutionizing the Circular Economy in Thermoset Composites.”

At the core of Swancor’s transformation is ecosystem integration. In the future, Swancor will not only sell materials, but also integrate its core product, EzCiclo, a recyclable thermoset, into high-end applications. By leveraging the lightweight benefits of composite materials, Swancor aims to provide a “lightweight, low carbon, recyclable” one-stop solution to the global market.

The following Swancor technologies will be available for viewing on the JEC Innovation Planet.

  • Composite linkage of the robot’s ankle and knee. Made using EzCiclo carbon fiber prepreg, this component reduces weight by 30-50% compared to traditional titanium alloys. Not only does it improve the robot’s operational stability and battery life, but it can also be recycled at the end of its life with CleaVER technology, reducing your carbon footprint.
  • Recyclable rCF SMC battery enclosure. The result of joint research with Germany’s Fraunhofer ICT, this innovation combines over 50% recycled carbon fiber (rCF) with recyclable resin, serving as a “plug-and-play” green solution for molders.

Visitors can experience the integration of AI technology and composite materials up close. A humanoid receptionist robot will introduce Swancor’s innovative technology in English and French. Additionally, a robot dog will demonstrate its agile movements on site.
