US President Donald Trump on Friday shared an AI-generated video in which he plays a doctor prescribing a tongue-in-cheek “cure” for what he calls “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS).In the 90-second AI-generated clip shared on Truth Social, Trump appears wearing a white doctor’s coat, calls himself “Dr. Trump,” and offers a satirical treatment for a supposed condition.“Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with TDS? The symptoms are unrelenting. Fortunately, I’m Dr. Trump and I have a treatment plan. Let’s hear from some of my patients,” Trump says in the video.“The cure is simple: Stop the fake news. Pray. And if you’re feeling anxious, do what I do and drink a Diet Coke. It will make a noticeable difference in your life,” he added. The video also features AI-generated versions of several celebrities who have publicly criticized President Trump and his policies. They include TV personalities Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell, and actors Robert De Niro, Julia Roberts, Edward Norton and John Leguizamo, all of whom appear to support the fictional treatment. One of the “patients” said, “I’ve been suffering for over 10 years, and after listening to Dr. Trump, I’m starting to see some results. Oh, I’ve been suffering for years.”This latest post joins a growing series of AI-generated images and videos President Trump has shared over the past few months. Some of these posts have sparked widespread debate, including a doctored image that juxtaposes the US president with a holy figure during a public disagreement with Pope Leo XIV.Following criticism, that particular image was removed from the platform. But Trump later shared another AI-generated image showing himself hugging a spiritual leader in front of the American flag.
