Srinagar, July 13: SSM University of Technology on Saturday launched a special course in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
This initiative marks a major step forward in providing a cutting-edge education and equipping students with the skills they need to thrive in the rapidly evolving technology industry.
Senior leader and former MLC Surinder Ambardar, Chairman Navam Innovation Foundation Dr Ramji Raghavan and Dr Assif Assad, Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IUST, Awantipora were present on the occasion.
Dr. Asif Asad delivered a special lecture on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the role of Artificial Intelligence in the emergence of global technology, its various aspects and future challenges. He also answered questions posed by students on the topic of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Dr. Ramji Raghavan spoke about the value and importance of creativity in everyday life. He also highlighted the crucial role of curiosity, skill and self-confidence in this field.
During his address, Surinder Amberdar said that the course would help students improve their skill levels to be able to compete in the competitive market of the industry.
The university's chancellor Dr Sajjad Hussain Din thanked the guest speakers and other participants for attending the event.
