Spear AI secures scared seed funding for bear capital and cortical ventures to accelerate maritime AI solutions and expand technical services

Spear AI, a leading developer of maritime artificial intelligence solutions, has announced the successful completion of its seed funding round with investments from Scare the Bear Capital and cortical ventures. The funding will support the expansion of Spear AI's product portfolio, scaling the Horizon platform, and growing specialized marine sensor capabilities, expanding application data and technical and subject matter expert services for AI.

Spear AI offers an integrated suite of solutions and services that combine cutting-edge software, modular sensors and highly specialized engineering expertise. In addition to the flagship Horizon platform that manages and labels acoustic data for AI development, SPEAR AI provides subject and technical expert support services for designing, implementing and operating AI pipelines and data infrastructure. A team of machine learning engineers, data engineers, software engineers, cloud architects and operational subject experts have a proven track record in developing and fielding AI capabilities applied to national security missions, including advanced MLOP pipelines, augmented learning platforms, and mission-critical decision support tools.
