Julie Hyman: Snowflake and Nvidia have partnered, and chipmakers are bringing their AI platforms to Snowflake’s cloud. Shares of both companies rose on the news. The partnership will allow companies to use all of their own data within Snowflake’s cloud to create customized generative AI applications. Interestingly, Snowflake announced yesterday that it will partner with Microsoft on AI products. And today, probably late yesterday, he will also announce Nvidia.
Brad Smith: yes. I think one of the key realizations they made in the release, as well as the overall generative AI will continue to move forward, comes down to data. They said this data is essential to creating generative AI applications that understand complex operations and the unique voice of each company.
