Popular messaging app Snapchat is introducing a new AI Clips feature that lets you turn photos into videos. This new AI-powered lens format allows you to create a 5-second AI video with a single photo. AI Clips is a premium feature available only to Snapchat Lens+ subscribers. According to the company, AI Clip “Instant, personal, shareable AI video”

Snapchat also added that for the first time, developers can now build and publish photo-to-video AI from GenAI Suite in Lens Studio directly to Snapchat. AI Clips is described as a feature in Lens Studio that allows you to turn your snaps or photos from your camera roll into 5-second AI videos. As mentioned above, AI clips are available to Lens+ users. In some situations, Lens+ provides access to various AR and Lens add-ons. Subscription costs $9 per month
Snapchat also says it takes just a few minutes to create a single Lens with just one prompt. It appears that both experienced and new developers can do this without using external tools or complex workflows.
This feature is available to Snapchat Lens+ subscribers.

Lens creators can also monetize their work. Through Snapchat’s Lens Plus Payouts program, creators can receive revenue share payments based on the engagement they receive. What this means is that if a creator’s AI Clips experience clicks with users, they could be rewarded.
