Digital insurance marketplace Simply Business has launched its business insurance app on ChatGPT in the US, alongside another rollout in the UK.
This application connects ChatGPT to Simply Business’s informative pricing tool, allowing small business owners to receive a price quote by providing three pieces of information: industry, estimated annual revenue, and zip code.
Users are then directed to the company’s website to complete a full quote process and purchase insurance.
The company said the announcement is part of a broader strategy to leverage AI to simplify how small and medium-sized businesses research and purchase insurance.
This app is available from ChatGPT’s App Directory and may be recommended for users searching for information about business risk and insurance.
David Summers, Group CEO of Simply Business, said: “In 2005, we set out to transform the way small businesses buy insurance. Now, more than 20 years later, we have more than 1 million customers worldwide and continue to evolve features that simplify the way they research and buy insurance.
“Launching this insurance app for small businesses with ChatGPT in the US and UK is our latest step in meeting our customers where they are and making the insurance buying process an easier, better and fairer experience for them.”
The launch follows the introduction of hyper-personalized, AI-powered advisors in the U.S. in October 2025, aimed at improving speed and clarity in the insurance buying process.
“Small business owners already use platforms like ChatGPT to research, plan and make decisions,” said Dana Edwards, Group CTO at Simply Business. “By safely bringing insurance pricing into that environment, we remove another barrier between small business owners and the coverage they need.”
“We designed the app with the safeguards our customers expect. This kind of rapid, responsible innovation is what our global technology platform is built for.”
The move reflects a growing interest in embedding insurance services directly into the digital platforms where customers already make decisions.
