Cambridge, UK, June 16, 2026–(BUSINESS WIRE)–British computing technology company Signaloid today announced the release of the Signaloid Compute Engine Amazon Machine Image (AMI) via AWS Marketplace. This release enables organizations to deploy Signaloid’s distribution-enhanced computing hardware (UxHw®) technology within an Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC).
The AMI provides access to UxHw to deliver orders of magnitude performance improvements on x86_64 and ARM (AArch64) AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances. With UxHw, you can directly compute probability distributions in existing applications without requiring software rewrites, and automate algorithms such as Monte Carlo methods in finance and physics, importance sampling in reinforcement learning, and particle filters in physics AI and robotics. The technology works through binary translation and optimization at the LLVM intermediate representation (LLVM IR) level, with optional hardware acceleration through an FPGA and Signaloid’s C0-ASIC, which was recently taped out to an ultra-low power TSMC process. Examples of performance achieved with AMI include 430x speedups in value-at-risk (using geometric Brownian motion) and up to 580x speedups in Heath-Jarrow-Morton swaption prices.
For organizations that currently use AWS infrastructure and want to reap the benefits of UxHw along with familiar AWS tools, AMIs allow you to quickly deploy to EC2/on-premises compute instances and reap the benefits of UxHw. Organizations also have the option of deploying applications on Signaloid’s managed computing infrastructure, which is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and SOC 2 Type II certified.
Signaloid Compute Engine AMIs are available from AWS Marketplace.
About Signaloid
Signaloid provides a computing platform to dramatically reduce runtime and compute infrastructure requirements for many workloads, from quantitative financial and engineering simulation to robotics and physical AI. Unlike traditional CPUs and GPUs, which use large amounts of computational power across thousands of computational cores to solve problems that require iterative randomized variations, Signaloid’s UxHw is built on new mathematical techniques that dynamically restructure computations, often using 1000 times less energy while achieving the same results. Signaloid’s technology is designed to be easy to deploy and integrate into an organization’s information technology infrastructure, with a wide range of deployment options including cloud computing platforms, on-premises deployments, and edge hardware.
