Your role:
Want to join us in transforming how AI impacts our daily work routines? We are seeking an experienced Designer to join our interdisciplinary team at the Digital & Data Office of Merck’s Electronics business. You will bring your expertise in designing for AI applications, particularly supporting the user-focused development of generative AI services, and enrich our Data & Analytics use case portfolio with your practice. Working closely with our product team and data engineers, you will design AI-powered services that anticipate user needs, provide relevant content, and support adoption. In this role, you will also contribute to strategic activities. Demonstrating a keen understanding of stakeholder needs, you will be able to interpret and respond to their requirements. Your experience in designing AI services, including ML and NLP, will significantly influence how we enable the personal productivity of generative AI services.
Who you are:
- You have experience designing for AI services, including machine learning and natural language processing.
- You are familiar with design systems and have experience conducting user research, can design and conduct usability studies, user surveys, workshops and other forms of research.
- You are passionate about design and are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in user experience and service design, especially AI applications. Prompt engineering expertise is a plus.
- You possess excellent communication skills and have experience working in an interdisciplinary team within a global organization.
- You have a degree in Communication Design, UX/ UI & Service Design, Strategic Design, Integrated Design, Graphic Design or related fields, and are passionate about leveraging the power of AI to transform the workplace.
