The Saudi Arabian Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) participated in a working session focused on innovation and technology at the Saudi-Korea Business Forum in Seoul, South Korea.
Saudi Arabia's Minister of Commerce Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, along with a government and private sector delegation, is on an official visit to the South Korean capital with the aim of strengthening commercial ties in key economic sectors and enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Saudi Arabia-Korea Business Forum is organized by the National Competitiveness Center, the Saudi Arabian Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the Saudi Arabia Pavilion at the Forum, SDAIA introduced its Rowad initiative, a package designed to support Saudi entrepreneurs and small, medium and large enterprises.
The initiative will facilitate entrepreneurs and start-ups to verify customer data electronically by integrating with the National Informatics Center database, ensuring the highest level of safety and reliability and supporting entrepreneurs’ contribution to the national GDP, strengthening the use of ID in the emerging sector and improving the quality of establishment data.
SDAIA also announced plans for its third Global AI Summit, scheduled to be held in Riyadh in September. With over 250 speakers from around the world, the summit will delve deep into the potential of AI and its impact across a range of sectors.
SDAIA's participation in the forum is in line with the authority's efforts to foster partnerships with international organizations. Through such collaboration, SDAIA aims to establish a data-driven national economy in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and realize the vision of positioning Saudi Arabia as a leading power in the data and AI-driven economy.
