One of the featured projects is OpenCut AI. It’s an open-source video editor for Indian creators that supports transcription and translation across 22 regional languages.

Another use case highlighted by Sarvam is a call center intelligence platform that transforms multilingual call recordings into structured insights. The tool targets India’s large call center ecosystem and aims to simplify the analysis of high volume customer interactions. The series also features a real-time AI cricket commentary engine that uses a text-to-speech model to generate live updates in regional languages.
Integrating language learning apps and productivity tools
The Build with Sarvam series also includes language learning apps inspired by platforms like Duolingo. The app allows users to learn languages like Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, etc. through AI-powered conversation exercises. Another application called Kriya combines productivity tools with voice capabilities to integrate AI-generated voice capabilities into daily workflows.
