SAP Labs to Establish Two Global AI Jobs at Bengaluru Facility

BENGALURU: SAP Labs India has announced two global AI appointments at its Bengaluru facility: Rahul Lodhe as global engineering head for SAP Business AI Copilot Joule and Sudhakar Singh as chief AI security officer.

In this role, Rode will work closely with various line of business (LOB) leaders to drive the seamless integration of Juul, the company announced Monday.

He will provide key technical leadership, set strategic direction and drive innovation to ensure the delivery of superior software solutions. Additionally, Rode will shape the product vision and strategy to ensure alignment of Generative AI with market trends, customer needs and SAP's overarching business objectives.

Sudhakar Singh, who has more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and spent 12 years at SAP, has been appointed Chief AI Security Officer at SAP. In this role, Singh will lead Trusted AI initiatives for SAP Business AI with a focus on cybersecurity, data privacy, AI regulations and compliance within the SAP Business AI portfolio and will work closely with security teams around the world.

Rahul Lodhe, Global Head of Engineering, SAP Business AI Copilot Joule, said, “Our primary objective is to seamlessly integrate generative AI capabilities across SAP's broad portfolio and enable the requirement of managing 80% of the most used tasks via Joule. This initiative aims to not only improve productivity but also redefine how businesses leverage AI to redefine user experience.”
