Samsung's Big AI Push has since expanded its capabilities with Google's Gemini in its Gemini, at least for now, with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. Today, Choi Wing Jun, president and chief operating officer of Samsung's mobile division, told Reuters that the company is extremely open to alternatives.
But of course, only those who can provide the best experience to their users. Samsung has already been in talks with both Openai and Prperxity, integrating their respective AI services into upcoming smartphones, and is likely starting with the Galaxy S26 family.

Samsung is investing in the baffling situation and is approaching a deal to integrate both the app and the assistant into the phone. Also, Openai is running, but there are no investments from Samsung.
Choi said: “We're talking to multiple vendors. As long as these AI agents are competitive and can provide the best user experience, we're open to AI agents out there.” While talking about Apple's rumoured entry into the foldable smartphone space that Samsung has dominated so far, Choi believes the move will be beneficial for the industry as a whole.
The company is also evaluating both the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and Exynos 2600 for the Galaxy S26 range, but it appears that the final decision has not yet been made.
